Description:

Reverberate - have continuing and serious effects

Example: Victory continues to reverberate in personal ways.

A drop in still water ripples out.
A motorcycle accident changes everything.
A lot of lives feel the ripples, even years after the fact.

This is a collection of works all set in the same universe, interconnected in ways that may not be easy to see but that matter.

Notes:

Welcome to a collection that has largely become about the human experience!

I started Cadence years ago, I think 2017? I was in college. My life felt like it was falling apart. I am a completely different girl now than the one who originally conceived of the plot. Shit, I'm completely different from the version of myself that posted Chapter One.

Greif. Recovery. Healing. Loss. Humanity. These are just a few of the themes that have become relevant throughout my story.
I mean, yeah, gold medals are cool and all, but are they worth sleepless nights and the loss of your sense of self?

This world is such a big part of me. There are stories I'm working on that I've been waiting to tell for years. I cannot wait to share them all with you. Cadence, and now the larger collection Reverberate, is my passion project.

I cannot promise how often I will update but I promise - I will never abandon this world. She carried me through my darkest days, now I'm going to bring her to life.

Who knows? Maybe she'll reach someone else who needs her.

Collection Title inspired by Reverberate by Bears In Trees.

I can hear your fragile laughter as wine bends time, us made of plaster
The river finds its drunken master, the fear you felt before the breathless after
And the way the waves reverberate down my frame
A quake across my vertebrae
So, I'll subvert my simple senses for sensational relief
But the subtle serendipity gets caught between my teeth
And when I go to bed, I can't even think to sleep
Cause all that's in my head are the monsters underneath
And the way the waves reverberate down my frame
A quake across my vertebrae
But I love my friends, they make me feel alive again
Or at least they remind me that I'm not even dead
But I felt so old, so hardened and cold
Maybe the gaps will snap back, but synapses fill with mould

This story is an extension of myself. And I am so excited to be sharing it with you - so if you're here??? Welcome! I hope you like what you find.
