[An ‘Arcanum: Count Your Lucky Stars’ rewrite]
Tech Sergeant Serenity Ripley was supposed to have been part of the Kerberos mission. An accident kept her from going, leaving the crew without a dedicated mechanic.
The mission never returned.
Left behind to pickup the pieces, Ren was left at the Garrison with a teaching job she hadn’t really wanted.
Things had changed before. Just as she was starting to find her footing, things would change again. She never felt prepared.
