Summary
“What name did you give your child?” the priest asked, looking between the couple standing before him. The woman sighed heavily, shooting her husband a sidelong glare.
“Jesse.”
‘Jesse James McCree’. Maria would never, ever forgive Bill for taking advantage of the epidural to fill out the birth certificate. Even in the presence of the priest, Bill grinned to himself. There was no way he wasn’t going to keep up that little family tradition.

A proper prequel to Deadlocked.

Under a sky like that, it's hard not to reminisce; and with a harmonica in his hand, it's easy for McCree to forget that he's wearing a biker cut now.
(A prequel to Deadlocked--I mostly didn't want to change Chapter 1)

I'm in love with the OG Overwatch team, and I'm developing an unhealthy obsession with McCree. Have some little drabbles.(I don't write these in chronological order, though I do my best to keep them in order when updating. Check the chapter titles for which chapter is new!)

Summary
McCree was certain he would never receive a recall signal. Not that he ever would have returned to that rotting husk of an organization, but for whatever reason, he continued to listen and carefully maintain his biometric monitor implants. He wasn't sure what he was waiting for--Ana was dead, and he sure as hell wasn't going to answer to anyone else, not after the way he'd left.
Then it came.
(Sequel to Deadlocked.)
