Summary
In Soonyoung’s honest opinion, the most annoying thing about Seventeen is how all thirteen of them are moon-marked. Most idol groups tend to have at least a few sun-children, but Pledis somehow ended up with all shapeshifters, and almost all of them are different animals too.
Soonyoung is handling the idol part of his life fine, but it’s hard being a cat in love with a mouse.

Summary
Soonyoung remembers meeting Jihoon. He could sing, he could dance, he was one of the most impressive trainees already with the company, and he was Gifted—something that was practically unheard of among people who were under eighteen. Gifts would never be commonplace, but so many years after The Awakening there were more and more people being born without them, to the point that one day the number of un-Gifted individuals would vastly outnumber those with powers, Soonyoung had read.
But Lee Jihoon, with his small stature and beautiful, girlish face, was Gifted. He was a truth-teller—someone to whom you could never lie. So when Soonyoung falls to his knees in the middle of ‘THE IDEAL CUT – FINAL SCENE’ IN SEOUL, arm burning on account of old, familiar injuries and brain screaming under the assault of completely new ailments, Jihoon is the one who Soonyoung reaches for right before he blacks out.
