Summary
“What are the grapes for, again?”
“Good luck. That’s what I saw online, at least.” Dongmin takes one out to eat, rubbing off the white outer dust before doing so. “You’re supposed to eat twelve in one minute as good luck for the next twelve months.”
“Is that possible? That’s probably possible.” Donghyun takes a bite of his McRib, and Dongmin reaches down to hand him a napkin for the barbecue sauce dripping off the side of his lips. He waits for the man to finish chewing, and his inner excuse is because there’s nothing else for him to do other than eat his own food— but it’s not like he needs to deny the fact that he likes staring at Donghyun. He’s pretty sure the other knows.
—
Dongmin and Donghyun drive out to a cliff to eat twelve grapes together for New Year’s Eve.

Summary
Unsurprisingly, Donghyun is inside. White wrappers litter the floor, covering almost the entirety of the wood, and Dongmin has to walk through the sharp crinkles and green, sticky mess before approaching his friend on a couch that looks suspiciously like his.
”Sit down,” Donghyun says, handing him an unwrapped white package. It’s the same as the ones on the floor, and when he opens it he finds a Honeydew-flavored, green Melona bar. He has the substance smeared across his face, as if he’d eaten all the ones now discarded everywhere, and before Dongmin even knows it he’s reaching behind himself to grab a napkin out of thin air.
—
Dongmin keeps having vivid, unnecessarily wild or strange dreams about Donghyun. Every single time he sleeps. It comes to the point where it’s more annoying than interesting, though Donghyun himself seems to disagree.
