Summary
Hornet ends up in New York during the events of into the spider-verse, and does her best to get home before the impending implosion of the city. She struggles to accustom herself to this strange world, but manages to retain her sanity around this group of impulsive weirdos with spider powers through sheer force of will. Even still, despite being so far removed from even the concept of a "spider-man," she finds herself feeling a certain kinship towards the individuals she meets in their shared responsibility of protecting their chosen cities. A hard won respect that she takes back with her to Hallownest.

Regardless of the fact that the criteria for that has grown immensely in such a short amount of time, her mission remains the same. Even when invading forces reveal to be remarkably similar to her own past enemies, when prediction and correlation are taken as prophecy, and familiar friends are branded as foes, she is resolute to protect and serve those who need it.
