‘Other Martyn’s gaze filtered around the room, taking in the lack of any notable features. There was what looked to be a bed, sheets missing somehow, a singular wooden wardrobe, and an empty desk. He distantly recalls that the desk should have something on it, but he blanks at what it might be. Maybe paper, maybe tools, maybe just a mug. He doesn’t know, and he doesn’t think he’ll get to know. Although, most of this doesn’t catch his eye as much as the centre.
In the center of this barren room is a familiar navy sweater, now lined with dozens of cuts and torn seams.’
