Summary
Buck sighed as Chris grinned at him, victory in his eyes. "I won! I did it!" He cheered and Buck smiled amused at him, unable to be upset that he'd lost.
"Alright Superman, you won the bet. What's your request?" He asked and Chris grinned, thinking hard. "I want you to wear a hat I have for a whole day, even at work unless you have to put your helmet on," he said and Buck's mouth fell open.

Summary
/Where'd the water go?/
Buck fought the current, bouncing off debris and his lungs screaming at him. Christopher had been ripped from his arms, and no matter where he looked, he couldn't see him.
/Christopher!/
He could see a shimmer, the sun above him. He tried to kick off the ground, his arms fighting to get him above the water, but something held him back.
He looked down but couldn't see anything, the water murky and brown. But something held onto his leg, his shin burning with pain as whatever it was dug in.
His lungs burned, the need to breathe in getting stronger and stronger. But he couldn't, he had to save Christopher.
/Why didn't you save me?/
The words were nearly visible, bright red in the dirty brown swirling around him. Bleeding against the darkness, bright and vivid in his vision.
/I'm trying Chris, I promise, I'm trying. I just need to get free!/

A bright reddish orange shimmer caught his eye, his feet taking him to the wall. There was a gem in the dirt, about the size of a quarter, shimmering with the most amazing shades of red, orange, yellow and every color in between. It reminded him of a red hot coal slowly cooling off in rock form.
He nudged it a bit and it fell out of the dirt, nestling in his palm. This was it, the stone he wanted for an engagement ring.

Summary
He looked to where it was pulling, seeing the brightest blue eyes staring at him.
/He's not human/ his magic whispered to him, Eddie tensing as he eyed him right back. "Oh, that's Buck, don't know what's up with him. He's usually pretty happy, a golden retriever. I'm sure you two will be friends in no time," Hen said reassuringly, Eddie nodding slowly without looking away.
He'd never felt this aura before, a creature he didn't know. His magic wasn't on the defensive though, if anything, it was wanting to break free of his skin and drag him over. He'd never felt his magic feel so playful before.

Summary
1819
Evan closed his eyes, a shimmer appearing to his fingers. A single seed was formed, a similar shimmer to its shell. Evan pressed it into the dirt, whispering under his breath."When we meet again, this will bloom. I know you've done the ritual to let our souls be entwined for life. Souls are reborn into the bloodline, pass the flower down and tell our story," he said softly and Edmundo closed his eyes.

2019He looked at the dirt, picking up the spray bottle next to it and lightly moistening it. The dirt shifted, Eddie freezing. A tiny stem was poking through the dirt, a vivid green against the dark brown of the soil.
He stumbled back away from the plant, his magic swirling in his chest elatedly. It bloomed, the fucking plant bloomed. He'd expected to have to pass it off to Chris, to tell the story he'd been told.

"I found out something new yesterday, do you want to tell her, Eddie?" She asked and Eddie glanced at Shannon confused. "I'm sorry?" He asked bewildered and Tracy crossed her arms.
