Summary
“Hello, little kitty.” Ilya scooped the cat back up into his arms. The cat tensed for just a minute and then relaxed against Ilya’s bicep and snuggled in. Shane knew exactly how it felt, to be so content in Ilya’s arms. And some part of him was maybe a tiny bit jealous that it wasn’t him snuggled up with his husband right now. Instead, a recently rescued trash cat had usurped his spot.
“Would you like to be called Ivan?”
The cat meowed in agreement.
Ilya meowed back.
Shane was monumentally screwed.
Or Shane and Ilya adopt a cat. Hijinks, sex, and feelings ensue. (Not with the cat. They're not perverts, I promise.)

Summary
Ilya's worst case scenario--being publicly outed without his consent--has somehow led to Ilya's best case scenario: being proudly out and married to Shane, playing on the same team together and leading the Centaurs on a playoff run. Now he and Shane live together and have a dog AND a cat. It's all of his wildest dreams come true.
Except, Ilya is horrified to discover that no thinks he's very cool anymore. So what if he likes taking walks with his pets while holding his husband’s hand? Or cuddling under a warm blanket on the couch at night rather than hitting a night club?
