Summary
The kid's made it a habit, finding a way into Jason's safe houses and taking his shit. It's some sort of power play, a way of asserting that he's better without saying as much. Implying that he's more skilled than he actually is. Simply because he can.
Damian's grown lax, though. Comfortable. He’s lingering longer lately, and Jason watches on the cameras he's had set up long before Damian's little thefts even began. He lays curled up in the middle of Jason's bed, arms slipped through the sleeves of one of Jason's jackets, face buried in the inner lining.

Summary
They’re on the sparring mats of the Cave, and Jason has forgone a top. Upon his arrival, he simply… as if it were not at all an issue, stripped down to nothing but his loose shorts. Unceremoniously kicking off his tennis shoes and discarding the crumpled fabric on top of them.
Damian has convinced himself that it’s meant to be a distraction technique, because nobody in their right mind would spar with live blades in so little protection otherwise.

Summary
Jason could probably count the number of times that Damian has intentionally made physical contact with him on one hand — outside of their myriad of fights. He thinks, skeptically, that even with flicking cat ears, the pleasant wave of his tail, this Damian is still just waiting for the right moment to dig his claws into Jason’s skin.
Admittedly, he’s not the most familiar with cats, not that he’d expect that to help when… the cat in question is also half a boy, but Jason does know the purring is a good sign. He knows that Damian choosing his lap, curling into his shoulder, pressing into his neck, is probably a good thing. Has to be.

Summary
But once a week, Thursday as the clock strikes seven, there will be a notification. The chime that offers a break in the monotony. Damian can close his books and push them aside. He can scrub his hands over his face, and minimize the copious notes on the laptop. On Thursdays he relocates to his bed, pulls up Red Hood’s stream, connects his headphones, and feels himself slip into an entirely different world.
It’s been nearly two years of living Thursday to Thursday.
