Summary
While Odysseus is lost at sea, his wife Penelope and son Telemachus are dealing with a house full of rowdy, arrogant suitors. These men have moved into the palace, eating all their food and demanding that Penelope choose one of them to marry, assuming Odysseus is dead.
When Odysseus finally returns disguised as a beggar, he pulls off an epic revenge plot, wins back his kingdom, and reunites with his family.
It’s a massive story about loyalty, temptation, brains over brawn, and the ultimate desire for home.
