The pendant inside of the SM-13 is an apple sapling instead of a maple one, and neither Ava nor Simon die in their submarines. Naturally, everything changes.
Now, Simon has to navigate staying alive after fighting for it so desperately, even if it's harder to fall back into regular life than he'd anticipated, and Ava needs to figure out how to get the COI off her back and keep her ship without being demoted. Or, you know. A regular Tuesday.
CaptCon in this is neither romantic or platonic but a secret 3rd thing which is codependent shelter cats, read it however you wish to interpret them!
