When he got high at that age, Jack used to worry a lot about what his face was doing. Robby reassured him by telling him his face was fucking impenetrable at the worse and best of times. That he looked peaceful, pensive, not in a distant or silly way, but in a kind of wise old soul sort of way that annoyed the shit out of Robby.
It was part of the reason Jack had always enjoyed smoking in Robby’s company, though far from the only one.

Jack joins in for drinks at the park. And though he may have skipped his allotted rooftop-time, he finds himself in a similarly pensive mood. Watching the young doctors, Jack reminisces about his graduation, about his friendship with Robby, and all the stuff they haven't allowed themselves to think about in years.
