Summary
October, 1988
'But the clown called to him from behind, a little more desperate sounding than it had before.
“You sure you don’t want your boat back?” The clown asked, “I’m sure Billy wouldn’t be too happy that you lost it.”
He stopped in his tracks.
The clown’s voice was convincing, almost a little authoritative like his dad was when trying to convince him to do something he ought to, like the chores.
He couldn’t quite remember whether he’d told the clown his brother’s name but if he was to take the boat back, what could the clown do? He’d simply get the boat back and run home. And this could be one of those stories that Bill could write about or draw a comic about. And they’d be able to laugh about it later. He needed to get back anyway, Bill would maybe have an answer for him about why they called boats 'she' and maybe time would fly by like it sometimes did when he was having fun because then Bill would be able to come out and play like he promised.
He just needed to get the boat back.'
This has a sequel that has now somewhat been abandoned but I have plans to continue it in a rewrite attempt of it. If you want to check it out, check out My IT Rewrite AU on my account

Summary
‘It was an old school photograph of a young boy, with his hair combed back and a proud and happy smile on his face. And if anyone would know who may had lost this in Derry, he assumed maybe Mr Hanlon would.
“Is this anyone you might know? Maybe lost a photo in an album or something?” He’d asked the librarian, handing it over.
Mr Hanlon didn’t have to say anything for Don to know he did. He looked like he’d seen a ghost, his eyes far off and sad. Maybe this was the look his mother had spoken about. So it was no surprise that once Mr Hanlon ensured that Don was safely home with his mother, he rushed off in a hurry, stating he needed to make some calls. And Don felt glad he hadn’t asked, because that look in his eye, it was awful similar to the look Adrian had when he’d seen the clown’s hand reaching toward him at the side of Kenduskeag…
