Summary
The world called it The Decimation. What was left of the Avengers called it The Snap. Either way, Thanos got what he wanted.
In an AU post Infinity War, Steve Rogers was snapped instead of Bucky Barnes, and the fight took a bigger physical toll than canon.
Tony just wants to live in the woods and tinker with his stuff. Barnes just wants to live a quiet life. Nebula thinks they're both idiots and should just kiss already.
Somehow, they make it work. And life is good, it's really good... Until Wong opens a portal to talk to Tony.

Summary
Tony and Bucky seized the opportunity to time travel to the past with the help of the sorcerers. Taking over their younger bodies in the period after the Battle of Sokovia, they have one mission and one mission only: Stop Thanos from snapping those fat purple fingers and causing the Decimation (though Tony prefers the term "The Snappening"). But to do that, they have to make sure the Avengers don't fall apart in the process of getting there. With the Sokovia Accords on the horizon and remnants of HYDRA still lurking in the shadows, Iron Man and the Winter Soldier have a lot to do before they can fix what broke the first time.
