Summary
The first time, he promised her a thigh gap. The second time, a BBL, to fix what the baby did. She told herself both times that the price was worth it. This time he doesn't have to promise her anything at all, and she comes down to the basement long after the reason to has run out.
Madison's body never bounced back the way the internet promised, and now the whole world is suddenly thin on the same miracle everyone swears is just clean living and discipline. She wants it too, badly, and her father is the one man who can get it for her, no prescription, no questions. He's very good at making her understand the price, and even better at keeping it off the receipt.
A pitch-black comedy about beauty culture, the lies people tell about their shortcuts, and what a person will hand over for the body they think they're owed. Pure fiction, satirical in intent; the tags are accurate, so read them.
