Summary
“Sirens?” Wooyoung repeats. “I thought sirens just sing you a little song to lure you into their clutches or something!”
“Oh, no. They can do much more than that. For example–”
“How do we fight it?!” Hongjoong quickly asks, before the youngest crew member can get into a thorough explanation.
“We…” Jongho hesitates. “We don’t. There’s nothing we can do about this magic, unless you’re hiding your own extremely powerful siren somewhere.”
The roaring of the maelstrom is growing louder, but at the moment, Hongjoong can barely hear it over the wild thumping of his own heart.
“You’re saying… You’re saying Destiny is going down, and we’re going with her.”
“I’m sorry, captain.”

“Oh, thank fuck,” Hongjoong sighs as he once again rests his head on Seonghwa’s shoulder. “Don’t get me wrong, I want to, but as you said, just this morning I thought I would have to sacrifice myself for my crew, and now I might be too mentally tired to actually get it up. Being held and kissed by you actually sounds like the best plan I can imagine right now. Oh, and sleeping. God. I just want to sleep. In an actual bed and not on the floor.”
“Really? You… don’t mind?”
“Treasure, we have our whole lives ahead of us. I’m pretty sure I can wait a night or two for you to be ready to make love with me. Come on. Bed. In the most innocent way possible.”

"I can wait a night or two," Hongjoong says, and somewhere in the vast universe, a voice laughs. The pirate captain is about to learn not to tempt fate, but the lesson might cost him his sanity. Did anyone say "famous last words"?
