Summary
"Right," he mumbles. "I uh wanted to see you."
"Now you've seen me. You can go now," she says and Ryland blanches.
His face goes white and then a glaring shade of red. She'd forgotten how cute he looks when he's overwhelmed. Too bad she's too irritated at him to fully appreciate it. Pulling teeth on a matter he brought to her attention.
"Bad choice of words I meant that I…miss you," he says and he fiddles with his cardigan, pulling it up to reveal what she already knew.

Summary
"How humans mate, question?" Rocky asks out of the blue.
Grace feels his insides shrivel up at the question. Yes, Rocky is an adult who is far older than he is. Yes, they can have a mature conversation about this but it still gives him that same wrong-footed sense of dread like when his students ask him about the same thing.
"What- what brought this on?"
Rocky angles his body back and forth as if in consideration. "Saw you yesterday. Very loud, not quiet. Grace try for quiet, not succeed."
