Summary
“Someone’s been holding out on us,” Lady Dimitrescu mused, more to herself than to anyone else.
“M-My lady," you sputtered, "I can explain—”
“Please, Mamă, can we keep her?” Daniela wheezed, sounding almost mad with frantic energy. “Best toy, won’t break, can’t kill—”
“This is not a daycare, Daniela dearest.”
“It would keep her body count down,” Bela said tentatively. “Cassandra’s, too.” At her mother’s reproachful glower, she wilted and said nothing more.
Or: New maids are far from uncommon at Castle Dimitrescu. Your origins, however, are of particular interest. You bring something unique to the table, you see—a quality less befitting a maid, but perhaps... something else.

Summary
“You ever hear that phrase, ‘an eye for an eye’?” Cassandra’s expression is crazed, utterly bestial. “You think you can heal an eye, pet?” Her tone is feverish, strained with a confusing—and unfortunately arousing—blend of venom and exhilaration.
You look at the blade, then back at her. “I don’t know,” you whisper.
Or: Let the games begin!

Summary
You do find it sort of funny that she’d trust Bela with this task. There’s a part of you that aches to keep pushing her until something breaks. She’s so subdued all of the time, so in control.
You watch with amusement as she edges closer, scalpel in hand, like she’s about to defuse a bomb.
“I won’t bite,” you tell her.
“Quiet,” she hisses.
Or: Doctors are hard to come by, but never fear! Lady Beneviento owns plenty of scalpels.

Summary
“Come here.”
Bela does. She sighs with relief when Donna’s hands settle above her hips. They’re close, close enough that Bela’s stiff nipples brush the thin wool of Donna’s dress on every inhale. Bela’s hands twitch at her sides, aching to touch.
She won’t. She can’t, not yet.
Donna’s in control. She knows what to do. That’s how this works. Bela strips herself bare and takes the plunge, trusting that Donna will pull her back before she drowns.
Or: Bela lost control, and she's having a lot of feelings about it.

Summary
That’s when it hits her. The smell registers first. You see her nostrils flare and her pupils dilate. Then her gaze dips lower, lower, lower… “Human! You’re hurt?” Without waiting for an answer, she tears open your shirt. Buttons go flying.
Together, you stare at the mess of sliced-up skin, how it oozes around blood-stained shards.
“Daniela…” you warn.
“Smells so g-good.”
Honestly. You’re not sure why you bother.
Or: Daniela's turn!

Summary
“Hey, kitty cat,” Cassandra croons. “You forgot to thank me.”
“For what?”
“Nursing you back to health.”
“You didn’t—” you stop yourself mid-sentence, knowing it makes no difference. “Thank you.” It’s said through gritted teeth, which she seems delighted by. Asshole.
Or: A brief chat with the Duke, some progress on the Daniela front, and more violent face-mashing (ft. Cassandra).

Summary
“She’s a child,” Lady Dimitrescu repeats, “and she’s been here for all of a month.”
Heisenberg huffs. “Whatever. She’s barely house-trained. How do you expect to keep her on a leash?”
Lady Dimitrescu, sounding utterly incensed, hisses, “That is none of your concern, you odious little man.”
“‘None of my concern’? It concerns all of us, you super-sized bitch!”
Death wish indeed.
Or: The lords are kind of stressed, but they're not making it anyone else's business, which is uncharacteristically cool of them. Meanwhile, dynamics continue to develop with each of the three sisters. It's going well, mostly.

Summary
Bela straightens. “It’s fine. I’ll come back later.” With that, she turns on her heel and makes for the door.
You don’t know what comes over you. “Oh, come on,” you gripe. “You’re not serious.” It’s too early to be picking fights, but her behavior is ridiculous. She’s acting like a child.
She stops. Turns. Opens her mouth like she has something to say, then seemingly thinks better of it.
“This room is big enough for two of us.”
Or: Bela likes music, which is awesome, because so do you! Also, a much anticipated reunion with Daniela.

Summary
Cassandra grabs the knife handle. Twists it. Grins at the way you shriek until she stops. “If you hurt a hair on Dani’s head, I will pull your heart out through your fucking throat. Think you can heal that, mutt?”
“Daniela’s a big girl,” you manage between strained breaths, blinking rapidly to clear the static from your vision. “If I fucked up” —which you did, your brain unhelpfully adds— “then—”
“You did!” Cassandra yanks the knife out without warning. Agony follows, tearing a hoarse yell from your throat. “What do you get from this, huh? Just wanted to fuck her, is that it? Make her believe you actually liked her?”
You’re half delirious at this point, but you wonder if you’re no longer just talking about Daniela.
Or: You're pulling some avoidant bullshit on Daniela (put a pin in that; we'll get to it), which puts you in Cassandra's crosshairs. Things with Bela have never been better, though. Silver lining?

Summary
“Something’s wrong with Dani,” Angie announces.
Donna speaks through the cadou, always has, so Angie’s not disappointed when she’s met with silence. Upstairs, it’s anything but quiet: So you’ve said. Donna’s words come out so smooth and rhythmic up there. They’re like music.
“She stole all your paper.” Angie crosses her arms and huffs, like she’s pissed. Which she is. “She’s still writing. Says she’s gotta make the ‘perfect letter,’ whatever that means.”
At that, there’s a brief pause in Donna’s movements. It’s slight, but there. She already… used all the paper she came with?
It’s not easy to surprise Donna. Angie would know. “Yeah. Recycling needs to be taken out, by the way.”
Or: Angie's a simple doll with a clear purpose—protect Donna. It's gotten complicated since Miranda, though. That new pet isn't helping matters either.
