“ Somewhere in the Midwest, there’s this town called Veil Haven. Where people go absolutely insane.”
In 2011, Serena Davis moves into Veil Haven with her aunt after being sent away by her parents - a secluded ‘small’ town in the midwest, where purple skies and ‘hallucinations’ thrive. Her new home is anything but normal with cryptids, hidden sights, and mysteries that all seemingly connect back to her missing sister.

A very self indulgent script formatted series written by two teen authors, Star (a schizophrenic black person who also has AUDHD) and Feathers (a Filipino) because we wanted to see more stories that included people we usually don’t see in media.
An example is Serena, the main character, who has paranoid schizophrenia. When people think of schizophrenia, they tend to imagine somebody violent or dangerous, which is often far from the truth. Serena is kind, brave, and compassionate, and while her disorder impacts her in a stressful environment, she isn't alone. There's no violent voices in her head or demons possessing her. She is not defined by her condition, and if you have schizophrenia or similar disorders, neither are you. - Star
