And when Clark found the orphaned warrior called Indigo Blue, marked by the omnipotence the prophecy stated, he believed he’d found the one. Trained to be undefeatable, worshipped as divine, Indigo became the eye of hope and freedom when she was once trapped in the ashes of homelessness.
But omnipotence had a price to pay, and Indigo was never meant to be divine.
As she grew into the powerful legend she was always meant to be and as the villain side of the world pushed against her more, the line between peace and justice began to blur in her bloody eyes. This is an AU I've been wanting to write for a while, inspired by the song I Believe in Magic by Halsey. This one shot sort of explores what might have happened if the Yellowjackets had never crashed, and Shauna's Wilderness Baby, whom I've dubbed Jackson, had survived. The main plot is older teen timeline JackieShauna, but this fic was imagined because I wondered what it would be like if Shauna's son had lived.

I've known these characters for years now and finally decided it was time to write their story, however amateur my writing may be. I also don't expect this to get a lot of attention. The title is most likely temporary since I'm not good at naming stuff (take the names of my characters as proof). I'll post chapters randomly & I make no promises that this will get finished. If anyone actually becomes invested in this, maybe I'll work on it more frequently.

Shauna glances over to the hallway, noticing Lottie standing in front of the entrance to the kitchen.
Lottie Matthews, with big dark eyes full of concern and much softer features than Jackie has right now. She’s wearing that cute pink skirt and her fluffy jacket, the smell of smoke and cold air still clinging to it. Shauna can’t believe she can smell her from this far while so fucking wasted. Then again, Lottie always smells good whenever she walks past in the locker room or in History class.
“No, she’s not,” Jackie says sternly, and Shauna can hear the frown on her face even though she refuses to turn and look at her. “She just tried to fuck my boyfriend and she’s completely shitfaced.”
