"Let's get our yearly photo!" Lilia cheered as he herded his three pupils into their usual positions. This tradition, Silver also greatly cherished. He had at least 10 photos so far, the copies of which he had tucked into an envelope which he kept by his bed in a drawer. Last year's picture was framed, and sat on his bedside table.

Summary
Sebek had beaten Silver in their race to the school's main building, and he was quite smug as they both panted for breath.
"Heh, another weakness of yours exposed," Sebek huffed, hands on his hips.
"Hm," huffed Silver, breathing in and out deeply. "You've won this time, Sebek. But it won't happen again."
Silver's hat was askew, dust had landed on his clothes, and rivulets of sweat ran from his forehead, to his soft cheeks, down to his round jaw. Sebek's hands twitched with the desire to papf off the mess Silver made of himself.
"Hmph! I will best you—again, and again! I will never take a challenge lying down, Silver!"
"Good," said Silver, and he smiled at Sebek, straightening up his posture. "What would I be without you, Sebek?"
Sebek blew up his cheeks, and looked away. Really, what unnecessary words.
"Don't joke around. You would be drowning in unrealized potential. Without an equal fae rival, you would never become a proper retainer for our Liege."
It is Silver's birthday, and Sebek is the one who made the party arrangements.
