Summary
Gwyneth dances with her parent, twice. It doesn't go how she hopes.
***
A prelude to my Elden Ring isekai story Remembrance of the Shadow because I cannot get my OC demigod Gwyneth out of my head and I have a lot of Marika and Radagon thoughts.

Summary
Remembrance of the Shadow, Gwyneth, hewn into the Scadutree.
Much as Godwyn became the scion of the Golden Lineage, so too did the eldest daughter of Queen Marika carry a curse wrought of the original sin. Gwyneth was the sole Empyrean of Godfrey’s line, but the darkness within her flesh and the visions born of her connection to the Scadutree drove her mother to imprison her within the Land of Shadow. And yet, she who saw the fragility of Order, who grieved the plight of those rejected and abandoned by the grace of gold, still fought endlessly to avert the fate imposed upon her kin and the Lands Between.
After all, wherever shadows are cast, there is also light.
---
A daughter is born of the union between Marika and Godfrey, an Empyrean with memories of a past life and of the future to come.
