So when the flames of chaos are so close, when the world is burning with the laugh of Gwi-ma next to their ears, Zoey just can’t listen to Mira’s yells, nor care for Rumi's tears and shining patterns.
Because Rumi's soul is worth saving, just as much as Mira’s life, that’s a mere fact.
Honestly Zoey is just doing her work. The tears on her own face are irrelevant, the fire will vanish them anyways.

Zoey decides to take Rumi’s place and sacrifice for both of her girls, even if it means to be burning in hell with the rest of the demons.
