Also known as: The Love Hypothesis Prequel: Adam's Perspective. Inspired by Ali Hazelwood's two bonus chapters from Adam's point-of-view.
Will there be a plot? Not really - unless you count 'pining' as a plot. Will there be a frigid scientist fighting against his subconscious regarding a certain student in his department? You bet!

Summary
Olive can't seem to escape feelings brought on by SBD. Adam just wants to help her forget.
“I keep hearing him,” she hissed, her face twisting against the memory. “All day...I keep hearing his voice, reliving the words he said to me. I just - - “
She started to tremble. Adam’s cheek was flush with her own as he continued to hold her steady even despite her ongoing tremors.
“I want to forget,” she heard herself say, like a voice outside of her body.
Finally, Adam released her. When she peeked through her lashes, Olive saw his own eyes were full, dark, mysterious. She licked her lips and took a deep breath.
“Make me forget.”
