Instead of going to the Dursleys in the aftermath of the Dark Lord's attack on Samhain in 1981, James Potter's twin sister Ophelia Potter picks up her nephew and raises him as her own. However, not all is as it seems in Potter Manor, shadows skitter where they should slide and the gigantic venomous snake seems far too intelligent, even for a familiar. Now, as Hadrian Potter heads to Hogwarts, raised under Ophelia's watchful eye, things begin to stir in the outside world that haven't been seen in a decade.

Taking place in the Golden Trio era, the series follows both Ophelia and Hadrian's journeys throughout the 90s as Ophelia works towards her goals in Wizarding Britain while also trying to safeguard her nephew from both sides of a war that might just pick him apart at the seams
