Summary
“You were the one who told me you didn't want anything to happen between us. You said that. You don't get to just– You don't get to throw it in my face that I'm trying to move on.”
“I didn't say I didn't want it!” It bursts over her lips like blood from a wound, like tears, like something inescapable and vulnerable and awful, something that should only ever stay inside of a body now held up, gleaming visceral in the light.
Or
Since their talk on the beach, the Doctor has done her best to pretend everything is fine. But when Yaz tries to move on with someone new, all the feelings she can't act on rise to the surface.

Summary
“I don't want to fall asleep,” Yaz says, small. “I'm worried it'll come back. I'm worried something's going wrong.”
Jac holds on. Presses a kiss to the top of her head. “If it is,” she whispers. “We'll face it together. Whatever happens...”
And Yaz smiles, shaky, finishes the line, the thing she said at their wedding. “I'm staying with you.”
Or
Yaz and Jac are married and living happily in Sheffield. But Yaz keeps having nightmares of a strange woman, who warns of an ending yet to come.
