“Who’s the homo?” came Robin’s voice, affectionately, over his shoulder, as he stopped his scroll mid-record.
“Huh?” he cocked his head to look back at her, a disgusted grimace on his face.
“Half of those movies are gay as hell and the other half are horror movies so whose record are you looking at?”
“Eddie’s.”
“Oh, Eddie. Interesting.”
“You think Eddie’s gay?”
“I mean, yeah. Don’t you?”
“We don’t know that. Maybe his uncle is gay and he rents them for him?”
“Including the porn?”
Steve studied the list again, focusing in on the ratings column, identifying the culprits immediately. “Those could be straight porn.”
“Boys Who Beg sounds particularly straight to you?”
“I don’t know, I’ve been in some situations where I could see myself begging if things had gone differently.”
It’s Spring 2003 and Eddie Munson just survived the Upside Down. Now he has to make it to graduation in one piece without losing his heart.

“They got you again,” Max said, a little too eager to share the news of a recent vandalization as she gestured to his van. It took a minute for Eddie's eyes to adjust to the sunlight until they landed on the word MURDERER scrawled across it in bright red spray paint.
“And you woke me up to tell me this why?” his hands raked over his face as he stepped down onto the porch.
“I thought I could skip school, help you cover it up, like we did with the other one last week.”
“So you want everyone to think I’m a bad influence and a murderer. That will really help my reputation.”
“You were the one who wanted to cover it up. I saved us a bunch of time.”
“Yeah, really inspired, thinking up Queen to add under Killer,” he rolled his eyes and desperately wished he’d grabbed a cigarette and his lighter before he’d answered the door. “I never would have thought of that.”
It’s May 2003 and Steve Harrington just realized he's bisexual, very submissive, and in love with Eddie Munson. Too bad Eddie Munson just left town.
