“Weird weird weird,” Rocky mutters, rolling back out of my arms. “Glad Grace okay.”
I nod, not feeling okay in the slightest. “Totally okay. I mean, how could I not be? I’ve got a spaceship, all the Taumoeba I can eat, and you. What else could I need?”
Last night's dream isn’t fading like my dreams usually do after I wake up. I’m not sure I even want it to. I can’t stop hearing the sounds my brain imagined Rocky would make as I sank my fingers knuckle-deep inside of him, as he praised me for making him feel so good–

“Once I hear Grace walk into lab table, fracture smallest toe,” Rocky says flatly. “Even then worst thing Grace say is dog gone it. My Grace crazy. No one on ship to stop you from say fuck, statement!”
I was already blushing from hearing my Grace. I only got redder from hearing the Eridian word I translated as fuck, whose notes Rocky has made me very, very familiar with over the past weeks. Hey, they say immersion is the best way to learn a language.
