Somewhere, between the wars and fights and chaos, the long explanations turned into a couple of words and the words turned into knowing looks. At some point, he just knew.

,,None of your business," she muttered, slurring her words ever so slightly. Mapicc paused his rummaging to give her an unimpressed look.
,,You made it my business the moment you decided to show up bleeding on my doorstep, idiot," he turned back away from her, ,,spill."
Zam shows up at Mapicc's apartment, half dead and bleeding, leaving more-then-pissed-off Mapicc to make sure he doesn't end up with a body to dispose of.
