An ongoing found-family series set in the MCU, picking up right after the events of Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026). The stories range from action and casework to domestic fluff, with one consistent heartfelt theme: the person under the fear is worth saving, not imprisoning.

Inspired by a popular post that's being shared right now: "How will Marvel explain the fact that no hospital staff or doctors managed to see Spider-Man's unmasked face while treating him?"
In the ninth hour of his regular shift as Chief of the Trauma Surgery department at Bellevue Hospital, Dr Oliver Hunt would never have expected, in his entire decades-long career, to see The Punisher kick through the doors of the Emergency Room carrying a wounded Spider-Man, profusely bleeding from a gaping gunshot chest wound. This was the very same Spider-Man that saved his wife's life on FDR Drive after a massive car pile-up occurred, nosy NYPD officers and desperate DODC agents be damned; Dr Hunt makes a promise to fellow Marine, Frank Castle - no one will know the true identity of the Hero of New York City. This they swear, on the sacred motto of their beloved Marine Corps, Semper Fi. A story about who protects the protector, and how a city keeps a secret.

Summary
A minor villain called High Voltage puts a lightning bolt through the platform Jean is standing on, and the plate-and-kevlar Frank gave her does exactly nothing, because ballistic gear was never built to stop the things she fights. And High Voltage is the small problem. The big one is still out there, still coming: Mister Negative, and the Negative Contrast blasts that will go through anything Jean is currently wearing like it wasn't there. She needs a real suit, and more than a suit, she needs to learn to shield herself with her own mind.
Set within A Web of Silk and Embers, between the end of Chapter 7 and the beginning of Chapter 9.
