Billy has made a deal with Stan Edgar. Heavy one that is. He has to leave USA and take his "toy" with him. He was allowed that one wish. Just leave Vought alone, don't try to fuck with company again. He accepted because realised he has more people to care about. Those who around him need this chance to start over. And it is up to Billy to step back and be happy with just John. He still puts up a show in the White House. Makes people believe he killed Homelander.
warning: minor canon divergence because Terror died before Easter events. Billy makes a deal with Edgar about John.

Summary
So back into the fray they go. Back to square one, this time John is by his side and it can't get any better. Or he thinks for a moment, but with him it never lasts is it? he finds himself falling apart even in dear hands.
This fic is a 'part two' of a series. I left many loose ends in part one, so it is only natural to write more and find a conclusion. I am not saying you need to read 'part one' but... it would be better for the information there.
