Summary
In the aftermath of Suguru Geto’s defection from Jujutsu High, two lives begin moving in opposite directions. While Satoru Gojo is burdened with the impossible responsibility of hunting down the person he once called his closest friend, Geto retreats into the mountains to build a new life alongside two young girls he rescued from unimaginable abuse.
As Geto establishes his growing religious organization, he finds himself navigating an unexpected role as a caretaker, discovering moments of ordinary happiness amid the consequences of his choices. Meanwhile, Gojo struggles to reconcile the memories of the boy he grew up with against the infamous curse user the jujutsu world now demands he execute.
Told through alternating perspectives, the story explores grief, loyalty, found family, and the quiet moments that continue to exist between tragedy and conflict. As their paths inevitably cross once more, both men are forced to confront the question they have spent months avoiding: whether the bond they once shared can survive the people they have become.In other news, once this piece is finished, I’ll be writing another fic in this series, retelling some of the story but from an Itafushi POV!

Summary
Yuji Itadori was never supposed to become a jujutsu sorcerer. Megumi Fushiguro was never supposed to let anyone get close.
But after Yuji enters the world of jujutsu, the two find themselves drawn into a friendship that slowly becomes something deeper. Alongside Nobara, they grow stronger, face curses, and learn what it means to live in a world where death is never far away.

You CAN read this without reading the previous series, Where the Light Remains, but I would advise is you want to know the relationship between Megumi and his dads, and between Gojo and Geto. But as I said, it is not necessary for the plot!
