This started out as "what would happen if Emily seeing Andy in those boots was the catalyst for her realizing she was a lesbian, and then they had a lot of sexual tension for most of DWP 1 canon, and eventually they fucked--er, dated?"
Then I accidentally Chekhoved myself into having to write a sequel featuring the boots. Then the boots scene turned into an entire second story longer than the first story.
And maybe the series will continue to grow even after that, because I've kind of Chekhoved myself *again* in the sequel, and I've kind of half-promised a scene in the comments. We'll see how long this hyperfixation lasts.
