Right here, watching Ryan's hair blow minutely, the remaining sunlight casting a ring of light around his head like a halo. The pink on his nose that always appears when its the tiniest bit cold, and the flush on his cheeks that seems constant. If God we're real, then every single thing here would be one of his creations.
The joint that Ryan's twisting between two of his fingers, the smell that it causes to linger. The heavy feeling of his own limbs, the dryness of his mouth, and the urge he feels. The urge to crash forward into Ryan's lips—An urge he listens to—Right here with Ryan, is the closest to God that he would ever be.

Having someone look at you as if they are dissecting you, digging down into your very core was a terrifying idea. But everything felt a little less scary when Naim was with Ryan.
Finally, Ryan's eyes settle, staring directly into Naim's. "But, you're all I've ever wanted Naim"

Gareth rolls her eyes and huffs. "Oh come on Ryan, do you want to propose to Naim or not?"
Ryan thinks back to when he gave Naim his snake ring. Sitting on the bus, he wordlessly placed it in Naim's hand, and he had looked at Ryan with his face scrunched in confusion.
He had to take the ring back, and put it on Naim himself. "what's this for?" Naim had asked, and Ryan just shrugged because in the moment he didn't really know. All he knew was he wanted to give something to Naim that was his. Something so Naim could remember him when he couldn't be near him. Something that wasn't going to try and kill him.
"Just want you to have it" He had whispered, and watched as blush crept up Naim's cheeks, watched Naim bite his lip to hide a smile threatening to form. And maybe that was the reason. He just wanted to see Naim smile.
"I do.." Ryan settles on.
Or
Literally just Ryan interacting with Naim’s grandparents and other people to gain the courage to propose to Naim. There is no other plot but just him wanting to propose to Naim.
