Summary
The noise on the fire escape had stopped, so Ryland decided to peek out and see if whoever was out there had left. They hadn't. Instead they were slumped down below his window, seemingly asleep or maybe passed out. "Hey," Ryland whispered, not wanting to sneak up on the person in case they were armed. It was a good call because the moment he stepped foot out the window the man's head snapped up and he waved a knife in Ryland’s general direction. Ryland raised his hands, palms toward the man in a gesture of surrender. "Whoa, hey, I'm here to help. This is my apartment's fire escape you're bleeding all over." Ryland squinted trying to get a better look in the dim light and realized he recognized the man before him. "Ryder? Tom Ryder? What are you doing here?"
---
Ryland thinks he is helping Tom Ryder recover from an injury. He doesn't realize the person he's getting closer to is someone else entirely.

Summary
"You should probably put your clothes back on," Ryland said, fishing for something else to say. "At least cover up those abs. You're going to make me feel inadequate in my own bed here."
"Oh, I don't think that's something you have to worry about," Ryder's eyes traveled deliberately up and down Ryland's body as he said it, looking dangerous indeed right now. "Based on what I can see, you're more than 'adequate', Ryland."
---
Tangerine is still pretending to be his brother Tom. Ryland finds himself interested in "Tom" even though he is usually only annoyed by him.

Summary
Tangerine was suffering from a feeling he had long thought he'd purged from himself. His conscience was nagging at him. He thought he had excised that tumor years ago, but here it was rearing it's ugly head and demanding to be acknowledged. It wasn't the killing he did for work that was making him feel guilty and worse than dirt. It wasn't any of the other dirty work that paid the bills. It was the fact that he'd been lying to Ryland, the man he was only now admitting to himself that the loved, for months now.
---
Ryland visits Tom on set and learns that his relationship is not what he thought it was.

Summary
Tangerine was more nervous than he'd been since… well, since forever. He couldn't recall having been anywhere close to this nervous in his whole life. Any minute now, Ryland would be knocking on the door of his hotel room and he would have to introduce himself to the man he loved. Yes, they had technically met many times by now, but since he'd been pretending to be his twin brother, Tom, he still hadn't fully let Ryland see the real him. So much of his persona had been an act to convince Ryland that he was his brother. Now he was going to be just himself and the prospect was more than a little terrifying.
---
Tangerine finally reveals who he is and what he does for a living to Ryland.

Summary
This was quite possibly the most awkward dinner Colt Seavers had ever attended and that included the one where his high school girlfriend's parents started arguing about the dad's affair and they decided on the spot to divorce. Come to think of it, there was nearly as much threatened stabbing at that dinner as at the current one. He was pretty sure there were more guns at this one however.
---
Ryland and Tangerine share a tense dinner with their respective brothers. Colt just hopes they all make it out alive.

Summary
Bracing himself, he opened the door, just as the delivery driver for the local florist shop turned to walk away. "Hey, sorry for keeping you waiting. I'm here." He called before the woman made it more than two steps away from his door.
"Good afternoon, Mr. Grace. I've got another delivery for you!" The woman was one he'd seen half a dozen times now and she was always so cheerful. It was almost enough to make a heartbroken man sick. She probably had no idea what to do with him, especially since he was sure most of her deliveries were to people who would be way more enthusiastic to be receiving bouquet after bouquet of roses.
---
Francis picks a fight and underestimates just how stubborn Ryland can be.
