Summary
Megumi knew he was possessive. That was not something he’d associated with jealousy. Inside jokes, quiet nights spent mostly in silence, but by his side nonetheless, movie dates, and the small things. He liked being able to order for Yuuji when they went places without having to confer with him. He liked knowing his sizes and bringing things back for him from trips to stores with Kugisaki. Megumi liked showing off that he knew Yuuji more than most, knew him in the way you would know a lover and someone you existed with as one for years. He was possessive in the way that his teeth and hands, his nails, marked freely and unapologetically. He colored Yuuji with blooming bruises where people would see and know that he had been there. That Yuuji was his and he was Yuuji’s.
Which he thought meant jealousy wouldn’t have been a problem.

Summary
Megumi’s lilting noises were obscene, high and breathy. He sounded like he was a moment away from prayer, and the rush of reducing him to this state never dulled. It was an honor to be the one person Megumi would roll over and give in to. Placing his trust in someone else was never something Megumi had done easily. Here, vulnerable and pleading under him, Yuuji thought the weight of that trust had never felt lighter. It was never hard to carry, not for Megumi, but with the promise of a future singing between them, it felt like nothing.
“Yuuji—” the angel under him choked around his own cries, hands shaking. “I can’t…I need you to—”
“You can do it,” Yuuji soothed, leaning down to tease chapped lips across a sensitive ear. “Don’t give up now, Fushiguro-sensei.”

“You’re so beautiful,” Yuuji’s voice nearly cracked around the weight of his words.
No matter how many times he said them, it never felt like enough. Megumi deserved to be painted and sculpted, photographed, and placed away with care for only Yuuji’s eyes to see until long after they were both gone. Future generations would marvel at the knowledge there was ever such a man; he was as sure of it as he was sure that Megumi was born with part of his soul. Yuuji was only complete after he found him.
Megumi always pinkened at the cheeks and ears, avoiding his gaze as if it was the first time he was hearing the compliment. When he had nothing else to cover his mouth, his hand was the instinct. Yuuji caught both before he could think to move them, earning himself a half-hearted glare in the process—even more beautiful like this. There wasn’t a single part of Megumi that Yuuji didn’t wish to carry behind his ribcage for the rest of eternity.
