Summary
It took a toll on Percy, Beckendorf's death. Percy was never the same after Beckendorf died. Even with demigod dreams being terrible, even before they started to get worse because of his death. It was no surprise that the boy had nightmares about how he could've done better.
Or, Percy still feels guilty over Beckendorf's death, Kronos decide to be an ass and haunt his dreams, Percy almost floods the camp, and Zeus all but forces Percy to ascend.
Or, Zeus decides to call Nico, Annabeth, Grover, and Thalia to see their friend/cousin become a god
Or, a Percy ascends fic with trauma and guilt.
Or, Percy, Thalia and Nico ascend because Percy doesn't want to be alone
Or, me writing a one shot i have no business writing.
