“We're gonna change all of that,” Langdon added confidently. Samira raised her eyebrows at him, not quite challenging but doubtful that Frank Langdon, of all people, could help her find something she'd like to do outside of work.
“I'll be the Virgil to your Dante,” Langdon added sagely.
“You're going to lead her through the depths of Hell?” Mel piped up from a little ways to Samira’s right at the charting station.Frank huffed. Samira turned to him and gestured to Mel in agreement.
“Okay, maybe that was a bad analogy. I’ll be the sidekick in a romcom montage that is ultimately what signifies the main character’s life changing for the better.” Samira raised her eyebrows again.OR
After her panic attack on the 4th of July, Samira and Langdon find themselves becoming unexpected but not unwelcome best friends as they embark on activities Samira has heretofore missed out on. Picks up during s2ep10, and diverges significantly from there.Series

Summary
Samira was brushing crumbs off her lap and then taking a sip of pop when she noticed there was a tugging on her fishing rod. She looked at Langdon, frantic, before she remembered she needed to grab the rod before it was yanked into the lake.
“What now?!” she said, much louder than necessary since Langdon had jumped when she had and was now even closer to her.
“Strong grip on the end— that’s it, now reel it in.”OR
Langdon takes Samira fishing as a bonding exercise.Series

“You don't know how to ride a bike?” He asked. Not unkindly, and Samira was grateful that he was at least trying to keep the incredulity out of his voice. She shook her head.
“No one ever taught me, and by the time I realized, I was 14 and figured I was too old. Didn't have anyone to teach me at that point anyway.”“I could teach you,” he said abruptly. Samira jolted, looked up into his eyes and stared, hard, to see if he was teasing her. Frank kept his gaze open and genuine.
