Summary
Tadej's breath is quick; he can feel cold sweat gather on the back of his neck and on his forehead, barely enough of a feeling as the night air touches his skin. He, once again, turns his head to look at the hallway, staring into the cold darkness, frozen, like his fiancée, the love of his life was standing there. She could be, at any moment, and Tadej should hang up right now, block the number, or, even better, throw his phone out of the window and try his best to forget all of this. He should.
"You can, ah, show me, if you want to. I'm alone also." Jonas's voice says into his ear, low and gentle.
He doesn't hang up, block the number, or throw his phone out the window, to let the night take away his guilt like his meds take away his pain, the stupid screen with the stupid text messages.
He doesn't. He swallows, voice down and hoarse as he hears himself speaking.
"I can...go to bathroom. Yeah?"
He can feel Jonas smiling.
