Summary
"There was something else I wished to speak with you about," he said, not looking up from the returning letter that he was penning. Dan Heng hummed curiously, glancing across the scattered books. Perhaps a continuation of their conversation the day before about the medical properties of various herbs across the universe? "Regarding our relationship-"
Dan Heng immediately shoved himself up, preparing to leave. "I need to-"
The tail which had been innocently curled around him suddenly wrapped around his waist and dragged him back down and Dan Feng turned to glare at him. "You need to sit and listen."

Summary
"A chipped blade can be sharpened all you like, but it will never be fixed unless you melt it down from scratch."
Ren's voice was quiet, yet it still seemed to resonate across the empty walls around them.
Yingxing's voice was equally quiet, yet far more determined. "Yet it is still worth tending to so long as it is in use. A treasured weapon does not become less so merely because it gains a flaw."
A quiet scoff escaped him, dropping his head back to stare up at the distant stars once more. "That line doesn't suit you, given how many weapons you discard to create new ones."
