Summary
Running away from Kakariko with Beedle was supposed to be Link’s escape. It was his defiant refusal to be chained to a life of mandatory guard duty he never chose. But that's the funny thing about duty. It follows you like a Hylian hound locked onto your scent. Can he truly escape the path before him, or is he only running towards precisely what he is trying to avoid?
Follow Link as he:
- clears monster blockades
- surfs on Sand Seals
- learns the ins an outs of Aerial combat
- falls in love
- and faces his greatest fearsCan a reckless, impulsive and immature kid really be the hero The Goddess prepared? Or will his blight use his weaknesses to stop him before he can reach the Demon king and save Hyrule?
This is book 1 of the 3 book series. Sit down and get ready for a Legend of Zelda story unlike anything you've red before (hopefully, idk, I havent read a lot of Zelda fan fiction XD) i am also planning a bunch of 1 shots, that are like 1 really long chapter that highlight different parts of the series, expanding parts that I might gloss over due to pacing reasons. I am planning one for Link's time in Gerudo, one or two for Hebra, and a bunch later on.
Might be a Marin book as well

Book 2/3 of the Blight Series (See book 1: Blight of the Hero)
With Hyrule in shambles and a Blight raging across its lands. It all falls on the shoulders of a young warrior who never wished to be a hero, a Princess who can't access the power needed to drive back the darkness. And of course, their trusty guide, Beedle.
The struggles of the heart and mind prove more perilous than anything physical they could face, and the past and differences in social class threaten to break up the chosen hero and his only defense against Ghirahim.
To stop the Blight they must help the Zora and remove the root from the ocean, and they must reactivate Death Mountain before the heart of Hyrule extinguishes forever.Series
