He stands there as the water drops back to the ground and absorbs into it. Link stares at the divet in the ground that the tear had filled only moments before. Suddenly a loud bellow filled the Rist Peninsula. He looked up at the source, only to see the once mysterious Light Dragon.
Link stood unmoving. He stared in awe of her beauty, much like he did each time he got to see her flying overhead. The only differences now were the tears falling down his face and knowing the beautiful dragon was her.
We don't get to see a whole lot of emotion from Link in-game so i fixed that. Begins just after viewing the last dragon tear. Goes way past that moment because I don't know how to stop a story and will just keep writing.

Kai finds himself in a land known as Hyrule just as it was founded, he's found by the two founders known as Rauru and Sonia, and is taken in by them to find a way home for him. But not too long after, another person known as Zelda finds herself in this time similar to Kai, which makes things more complicated for them.
But little did he know that this would have him take part in a historical event known as the Imprisoning War, and to defeat an ancient evil known as the Demon King: Ganondorf. From it, he'd become far stronger then he ever had in Ninjago, and go through multiple events that would change his life forever. While Kai hoped that he could return home, with this new world he's in, he will become something far more then he ever could've expected..

Link swallowed, throat tight, summoning the courage to say something—anything—in reply. But words were failing him; he thought for sure his heart would leap out of his chest.
"I wondered how long it would take before I saw you again," Ganondorf continued in a low voice, daring to gently cup the boy's jaw—forcing the prince to look up at him. "You look different without the costume."
Link let out a shaky breath, the mist of it hanging briefly in the air between them. He thought he saw a flash of amusement cross those golden eyes, but maybe he imagined it.
"I never meant to deceive you," Link finally whispered, his eyes wide and pleading.
"And yet, here you are," Ganondorf breathed, still holding his face. "A prince."

This work explores the idea of Link feeling incredibly depressed, distressed, hurt and traumatised during the events of Breath Of The Wild, which I think would be totally logical and justified, the dude just saw hell after all.
Not really any romantic action, relationships are related to supporting friends, feeling guilty, etc.
