Notes:

Sara Bareilles has a song for every mood and every breakup (they do tend to be sad, angsty songs) and I saw the potential for a story that covers an entire life together, through good times and bad. Of course, this all started with one paragraph in the middle of a PWP but who am I to deny the plot bunnies?

The song Kaleidoscope Heart makes me think of the potential we all have inside of us, for passion and love and life. It’s not visible to everyone we meet, only those who we allow to get close to us and discover the colors inside. I encourage you to listen to this song, as well as all the others I use! They’re all wonderful.
