Summary
Mistakes were made, hearts were broken, souls were taken or destroyed - but that doesn't mean things can't change. The Surface may seem out of reach, and even happiness seems far-fetched, but that won't stop the Underground's inhabitants from trying.
Asgore Dreemurr and W.D. Gaster, a more than unlikely pair, struggle through hardships both internal and external. They learn to help each other through anything and everything, and they might even end up breaking the Barrier while they're at it.
*Undergoing a rewrite. When I post the first chapter of the new version, I will link it here.*
