Summary
There was a lot of things that Lup missed while she was inside the Umbra Staff. She missed her brother, she missed her friends, her husband, she missed the conversations she used to have. Along with that, she missed the physicality of everything. She missed… the touches and things that made her feel like a real person, that grounded her when she didn’t know she was being grounded.

Summary
It was noon when Lup hopped off the railing and stood back on the deck, a bit surprised with herself- she had sat still for so long. She stretched, back popping as she lifted her arms over her head. She hesitated a moment before trailing back into the Starblaster and made herself a sandwich. Every sound she heard made her snap her head back toward the door to see if they were back.
But they weren’t.

Summary
The Raven Queen hated to admit it-- though she did over tea with Istus and Pan on occasion-- but she was a bit… overworked. She wasn’t exhausted per say, but she found herself having too much to do, liches allowed to wander around and cause mayhem for longer than she would like it. She needed… assistance. Though the thought of a god having helpers was near laughable, she needed it. She couldn’t stop the number of liches, necromancers, cults that were growing by the century all on her own. (Well, she certainly could if she took no time for breaks or paperwork, but Istus would be very upset if she didn’t make it to tea. The last thing she wanted to do was make Istus sad.)

Summary
Baz didn’t always say it in serious moments, though, not just in quiet and private places between the two of them. No, he didn’t care who knew that he loved Simon Snow, his childhood enemy who his father wanted him to kill since The Mage started all of his nonsense against the Old Families. It was the easiest way to get to The Mage, he had told him on the way to his first day of school, The Mage would undo everything they were founded upon. That never stopped him from falling all too hard for Simon, though, and now he was here, with him, happy. He never thought that he would ever get to have this moment.
So excuse him for taking every chance he could to tell Simon that he loved him.
