Description:

A crossover between Kingdom Hearts and Naruto cooked up in the imagination of late-teenaged-me around 2010, back when I was reading chapters of Naruto and eagerly anticipating Kingdom Hearts 3, which was SURE to be out soon!

Riku is Hatake Kakashi's nephew, from his older sibling who never amounted to much; when he accidentally breaks Sora's arm using chakra over a year before the events of KH1, Riku's mother panics and sends for the other half of his family to help. Riku reluctantly agrees to be trained as a ninja, with all that entails. But plucking someone out of one story and shoving them in another is messy business, and has some far-reaching consequences for later events, both in the world of the Elemental Countries and in the greater Realm of Light as a whole...

Notes:

Works in this series:
Becoming Ninja: the first story, deals with Riku's early time in Konoha. Strictly Riku POV.
the best people I know are looking out for me: side-stories from outside POVs, spans BN and its sequels.
take violent things and make them kind: the "mini-sequel" to BN; takes place inside Otogakure.
tailspin: Riku takes a team of medic-nin to the Chuunin Exams in Kirigakure.
Day Trip: Kairi and Sora visit Konoha. Without anyone's permission. Surprise?
Girl with a Key: the KH1 storyline (with...changes), primarily Kairi POV with guest-star appearances from Sora, Riku, and Tenten.

In the Works:
I am dedicated to finishing this series; no guarantees that it'll run through second-gen sequel series, but I will finish out the main KH and Naruto plotlines.
I have a solid sense of where the KH storyline will go through Chain of Memories and KH2; on the Naruto side, well...there are enough Major Plot Changes that everything past when Orochimaru dies in canon is a giant shrug. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (Well. I have vague plans. And I have a timeline of what happens with the ninja vis-a-vis the KH timeline!)

My KH3 plan right now is "lol multi-track drifting trainwreck" because at that point the two canons will have collided irrevocably with one another.
