Summary
Detta Matise works for a paper in New York City and has one hell of a crappy editor. When she catches him in one too many compromising positions, he bribes her to hightail it out of the city - and straight across the country working for the San Francisco office. She ends up settling in Santa Carla, just an hour south of the city, and adds some part-time advertising work to her schedule for a local store called Max's Video. It isn't long before the fresh meat is getting harassed by the punk locals and Detta, despite all her New York smarts, can't help but get taken in by one of them, and repulsed by another. It isn't until someone starts threatening her life when she realizes just how deep her fear of one, or maybe all, of the Lost Boys should go. In a do or die situation, who is willing to protect her and who is out to kill her?

Summary
Detta's having a hard enough time adjusting to vampire life, what with David and Max up her ass and Marko's life on the line thanks to his knee-jerk reaction to turn her without permission. But now it's David turn to play. When he finds a beautiful runaway on the beach named Star, life in the cave gets tense and Detta has a bad feeling about the girl. As if things couldn't get any worse, a little lost boy named Laddie gets stuck in the middle and the group is forced to choose whether he lives or dies, cracking a dividing line between the boys. The tension becomes too much for Detta so she takes a trip back home to New York to settle her own score and lift at least one weight off of her shoulders. Too bad New York hands her its own set of problems that she can't run away from.

Summary
The Emersons have arrived in Santa Carla and Max wants Lucy for himself. David, Dwayne, and Marko all know what's coming but Paul and Detta, the newest members of the group and blissfully absent during Max's last tryst, have no idea the mess that's about to be made. Since Max's last attempt at a blood-sucking Brady bunch nearly left them all as piles of dust, no one's keen on letting the old man at it again. Daddy Dracula's undead libido drives the vampire children closer together in a bid to protect themselves but if people are unwilling to learn from history, history has a tendency of repeating itself and not everyone will make it out alive.
When all hell breaks loose, Detta just has to remember one thing: her blood is stronger now.
The final story in the Changing Light series, this follows the events of the movie.
