This story takes place at the 2005 Olympics in Prague where Heedo is going for her second gold medal. Baekdo did break up in 2002 just like in the show. This is 3 years later. Heedo is not married. Yurim is her coach. Yijin is still a reporter. I'm going to try to write some chapters with 2 parts. One part from Yijin's perspective and the other from Heedo's perspective.

You were number one on her speed dial. The words play on a loop in his mind, pulling him back into her orbit like gravity and propelling his body upwards.

Following the break-up, Yijin transfers back to Korea after only a year in New York. One night he gets a call to pick up a drunk Heedo from a bar. Feelings and reconciliations ensue.
