A fanbinding of Mind Over Matter by kineticallyanywhere
Summary from Mind Over Matter:
"Wash feels Church behind every hit, swing and weave, refining angles and force like a dance. And Church catches Wash at pace right along with him, changing tactics like it’s an old song he sings along to. And, for a minute, they think: This is it. This is what it was supposed to be."The mercs force Epsilon back into Wash's head, and several subsequent days of That Happening. Featuring: daring escapes, two people trying really hard not to mess each other up any more than they already are, and Chorus as Space Australia.

Summary
The precursor gun platform on planet 4546B fires upon the Aurora, but the massive ship's crew is gone. They've been replaced by dozens of confused characters, all transported from other worlds and into this one. Not everyone makes it into the lifepods. Not every lifepod lands safely.
Now stranded on the oceanic planet, the massive mashup must band together and learn to survive in the harsh new climate of Subnautica's world. Although some characters are more focused on causing harm than doing good.---
The first arc of the story is finished! Arc 2 is in the process of being written and edited!

Summary
Miraculously, Wash doesn’t go to prison. According to the UNSC, Agent Washington dies on the same day as his former best friend — a still, gray heap in the snow left behind for the last time. At least this time, he deserved it.
For all intents and purposes, that's how it should've gone. Instead, a higher power takes a rare pity on him, and during the time he’d passed out, he was unceremoniously deposited into the parallel universe where the Reds and Blues pull him out of the snow, spray paint his shoulder plates yellow, and take him home.

Inspired by The Glitch by LazyRainDancer and the Platonic Soulmate AU by AnimationNut.
If you haven't read them before, go read them they're fucking amazing. If you like Undertale AUs and reader inserts, you'll like The Glitch.

"I'm telling you Church, I heard something in the caves."
"And I'm telling you you're hearing shit Tucker. Who would be in the caves? It's just us out here."
"Maybe the Reds are messing around in there?"
"Don't be stupid, we just saw all of them at their base and I doubt any of them move that fast."-
'Okay, think Cat,' I thought to myself. 'You were on your way to the exam...' I struggled to remember what happened to cause me to end up here. Nothing is coming up. 'I must have blacked out,' I concluded, which only made me more paranoid. 'What caused me to black out? Where the hell am I??'

This is a repost in the format it was originally written in. I might make edits to the chapters sometimes to add or change details to make the story flow better. The details in this story may not follow the events in the Platonic Soulmate AU exactly. Events may shift or even change all together. Basically this is an AU of the Platonic Soulmate AU.

Summary
The universe decided it wasn't done with church
So when he finds himself spat out again alone and disoriented, on a planet he doesn't know, with people he doesn't know telling him that the reds and blues have vanished.
Church decides that maybe he isn't quite done with the universe either
Post season 13 alternate timeline, think of this like an alternate season 15. Blue centric sorry Reds. Really it's a self indulgent Church character study with extra steps.
I'm going through a rework on this so it'll be on hiatus for now (not that it was really anywhere to begin with) I plan to write this hopefully sooner rather than later :/

“Simmons stares.
He stares and stares and stares but can’t comprehend what he’s seeing because all he can see is blue and white and no orange.
Where is he?
‘Grif?’
The name echoes down the cliff.
He doesn’t get an answer.”
Or: The Reds and Blues leave Sidewinder with an extra casualty.
